Rev up for the Take it to Hart Car Show

HART — The 13th Annual Take it to Hart Car Show is set for this Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in downtown Hart.

Enjoy an arts and crafts show, kids games and a chalk art competition with prizes.

All makes and models are welcome for the car show. Registration, which includes a $10 fee, is from at 8-10 a.m. Awards will be announced at 3 p.m.

Purchase a raffle ticket for $5 each or five for $20 for a chance to win the first place prize of a NAPA tool box or the second place prize, which is a Danby compact refrigerator.

The Hart Rotary Chicken Dinner at the Knights of Columbus Hall, at 109 Washington St., is from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. The dinner costs $10 per person and includes half a chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, dessert and water. Pick up or dine in at the hall. This is fundraiser for the Hart and Shelby Rotary scholarship funds, benefiting Oceana students.

To purchase dinner tickets in advance, contact a Hart Rotary or Shelby Rotary Club member. Or stop by the visitor center at 2388 N. Comfort Drive in Hart.
