Police investigating dirt bike theft

This 1973 Suzuki TS 185 dirt bike was recently stolen from a garage located in the 1800 block of North 116th Avenue in Elbridge Township.

ELBRIDGE TWP. — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a dirt bike that occurred some time between June 2 and July 8 in the 1800 block of North 116th Avenue.

A 1973 Suzuki TS 185 dirt bike, which is silver with red lettering, was stolen from an open garage, according to the police report. The bike is valued at $300.

“It appears that a vehicle had backed up through the grass to the garage, where they loaded the motorcycle into the vehicle,” the report states.
