78th District Court sentencings

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Clay Martin Lukenbach, 52, of 1015 E. Jefferson Rd. Hart, was found guilty June 15 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced July 6 to nine days in jail or complete Impact Weekend; $1,730 in fines and costs; six months probation; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; take name off title vehicle used in the offense within 30 days or immobilize within 90 days; not to purchase/possess a firearm; subject to counseling, testing and searches required by probation officer; and no alcohol/drugs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of second-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Related story here

– David Allen Lefler, 25, of 5065 S. Schwass Rd., Scottville, was found guilty June 22 of indecent exposure. He was sentenced July 6 to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $250 in fines and costs. One count of aggravated indecent exposure was dismissed. Related story here

– Anthony Steven Walsworth, 23, of 2105 W. Tyler Rd., Hart, was found guilty June 8 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced July 6 to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; must complete substance abuse evaluation recommendation; and $1,090 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Abigail Delight Dutton, 27, of 64 S. Michigan Ave., Shelby, was found guilty July 6 of operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL) – occupant under 16. She was sentenced to 180 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,330 in fines and costs. A second count of OUIL – occupant under 16 was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Terry Lee Gilbert, 3577 S. 192nd Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty July 6 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
