Oceana Drive resurfacing project begins July 13

OCEANA COUNTY — Be prepared for traffic backups on Oceana Drive from  M-20 to the south branch of the Pentwater River beginning Monday, July 13, when a $2.6 million Michigan Department of Transportation resurfacing project begins.

Traffic will be maintained with flag control, according to MDOT, and closure lengths will be approximately one mile. The project also includes shoulder widening, guardrail upgrades and drainage improvements. Rieth Riley Construction Co. is the contractor for the project, which is expected to be completed in September.
