HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Anthony Long, 24, of 3121 S. 204th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty June 29 of selling/furnishing alcohol to minors. He was sentenced to 60 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Two counts of selling/furnishing alcohol to minors were dismissed.
– Jonathon Robert McClernan, 19, of 5576 W. 184th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty June 29 of disorderly person – drunk and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of minor in possession of alcohol (MIP) dismissed.
– Amanda Sue Bush, 19, of Rothbury, was found guilty June 29 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of operating without security was dismissed.
– Stanley James Sayers, 66, of 2019 S. 24th Ave., Shelby, was found guilty June 29 of attempted failure to comply with reporting duties as a sex offender. He was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of failure to comply with reporting duties as a sex offender was dismissed.
– Tammy Lee Goven, 39, of 11310 Pine St., Holton, was found guilty June 29 of driving while license suspended (DWLS). He was sentenced to 13 days in jail with credit for 13 days served; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and a $75 in fine. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Bernabe Luevano, 23, of 21 N. Michigan, Apt. 21, Shelby, was found guilty June 29 of assault and battery. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; no contact with victim; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Samuel Benjamin Mitteer, 26, of 3101 S. 72nd Ave., Shelby, was found guilty June 29 of DWLS. He was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating without security was dismissed.
