HART — Defense attorney Erin Fisher of Springstead Law Offices knows what it takes to win a case, and she is prepared to battle for her clients.
Fisher will be available via 231-873-4022 24 hours per day during the festival, June 25-28, for those who have legal questions.
Fisher handles many cases that arise out of the Electric Forest Festival, such as drug and alcohol charges. The law firm would like EF attendees to know that if they find themselves in trouble with the law, to contact the office for legal representation.Fisher, 30, has many years of experience for a young attorney, and has worked in the legal field on both sides of criminal matters. Formerly the Oceana County assistant prosecutor, Fisher now works in criminal defense.
She is one of three attorneys in Springstead’s Hart office, which also includes Doug Springstead and Julie Springstead Waltz.
A graduate of Cooley Law School, Fisher obtained her undergraduate degree in behavioral science and criminal justice from Grand Valley State University. Her expertise is in drunk driving and drug cases. Depending on the circumstances of the case, the firm strives to get the charge either drastically reduced or dismissed, she said.
The attorney, who appears very approachable, has attended EF in the past and said she “understands all perspectives” of the cases that arise out of the enormous festival.
The energetic attorney worked for Varnum law firm as a legal analyst when she was still attending school and as an intern for the Ottawa County Prosecutor’s Office. During her internship, Fisher worked on cold case murder files.
