27th Circuit Court sentencings

HART – The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:

Erickson

Erickson

– Nicholas John Erickson, 37, of 69 S. 56th, Shelby, was found guilty April 13 of third-offense operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL). He was sentenced June 8 to one year discretionary jail with six months forthwith; credit for one day served; one year probation; $750 in fines and costs; and driver’s license revoked. One count of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.

substance – imitation manufacture distribution. He was sentenced June 8 to one year discretionary jail; 49 days forthwith; credit for 49 days served; driver’s license suspended one year, restricted after 60 days; and $400 in fines and costs.

Hunter

Hunter

– Ronald Lawrence Hunter, 32, of 4171 Meinert Park Rd., Montague, was found guilty April 27 of third-degree fleeing/resisting/obstructing police. He was sentenced June 8 to 18 months to five years in a Michigan Department of Corrections prison; credit for 51 days served; $1,397.65 restitution to the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office; and $198 in fines and costs. One count of assault – weapon and one count of malicious destruction of fire/police property dismissed. Related story here
