Dog bite among police activity

The following is recent activity of the Hart Police Department:

Saturday, June 6, 2015:

– A dog bite was reported on Water St. near Johnson St. The incident occurred June 5 at 3 p.m., and Oceana County Animal Control assisted. The victim suffered a puncture wound to the leg, but it required no medical treatment, police said. The dog was on a leash when the incident occurred, police said.

Sunday, June 7, 2015:

– 10:20 a.m., two-car property damage accident, McDonald’s parking lot.

– 1:20 p.m., gas drive-off, $20 in fuel taken, Hart BP gas station.
