Denzel Hepworth, Shirley and George Novotny, MSP Community Service Trooper Dan Thomas and Shari Cookenmaster participated in a Drug Take-Back Initiative Wednesday at the Oceana County Council on Aging (OCCOA) facility.

HART — The Oceana County Council on Aging partnered with the Hart post of the Michigan State Police Wednesday, April 22, for a medication collection at OCCOA, located at 621 E. Main St.

Individuals were encouraged to bring in both over-the-counter and prescription medications that were expired and/or no longer needed to be safely disposed during the Drug Take-Back Initiative. Home Depot of Ludington donated containers for the collection.
