Play ball! … and swim

SHELBY — Kids 4 years old through eighth grade who are interested in playing baseball, softball, and T-ball this summer, can register to play and sign up for swimming lessons Saturday, April 25, and May 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at the New Era Christian School.

Visit the Shelby Rec Club Facebook page for more information. The sports programs are open to anyone in that age group — not just Oceana County kids. The cost is $30 for the first kid in the family to sign up with reduced prices for families with multiple children. Swimming lessons at a local pool in Shelby with the same rates are also available.
