SHELBY TWP. — A 25-year-old Shelby man was arrested by troopers from the Hart post of the Michigan State Police Sunday, April 12, at 2:20 a.m. on US-31 near Shelby Road on a bench warrant for non-sufficient funds. The suspect was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Troopers were also dispatched to an unsafe bonfire Saturday, April 11, at 9 p.m. in the 2000 block of Morningside Drive in Hart Township.
