HESPERIA — Did your family arrive on the Mayflower or were they among those displaced by World War II? Maybe they were in North America before Europeans even thought about exploring. We all have important family stories to tell and share.
To help you share those stories, Shaun Hill will present “Family History 101” at the Hesperia Community Library Tuesday, April 14, at 7 p.m. Hill is an accomplished historian who has created several family history books and compiled materials from close and distant family members. Hill will explain how Ancestry.com and other programs can help you.
Hill will discuss how to contact family members and offer tips about gathering documents and family photos. He will also show the many books and posters he has created that allow him to share his family history in an organized, attractive way.
