Chainsaws stolen from tree trimming business

CLAYBANKS TWP. — A larceny of four chainsaws valued at a total of $3,400 from a pole barn at Perez Tree Service, at 7469 S. 64th Ave., was recently reported to the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office.

Intruders gained access to the pole barn some time between March 16 and March 17, OCSO Lt. Craig Mast said. “They realized that some of their inventory was missing,” Mast said.

The chainsaws are Husqvarna models with 20-inch bars. Two are model #576XP; one is a #372XP model; and the other is a #550XP model.

The case is under investigation, and anyone with any information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 231-873-2121.
