78th District Court sentencings

HART – The following were sentenced Monday, March 9, in 78th District Court:

– William David Morrow, 27, of 955 W. Jefferson Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty March 9 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; $1,040 in fines and costs; and outpatient treatment. Restitution is open for 90 days. One count of operating while intoxicated and one count of transporting open intoxicants were dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Darryl Louis Kerbursky, 51, of 8563 Robinhood Dr., Montague, was found guilty March 9 of disorderly person – drunk. He was sentenced to eight days in jail with credit for eight days served; 90 days in jail to ensure compliance with court orders; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of assault and battery dismissed.

– Trevor Ray Adams, 21, of 615 E. Arthur Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty March 9 of driving while license suspended (DWLS). He was sentenced to 93 days in jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– James Michael Riggs, 38, of 5826 W. 8th, Mears, was found guilty March 9 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 93 days in jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; must complete substance abuse evaluation recommendation; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC)/super drunk was dismissed.
