HART — A 47-year-old Montague woman was arrested for drunk driving by officers from the Hart Police Department Thursday, March 5, at 10:56 p.m. at the intersection of Griswold Street and Polk Road.

Friday, March 6, 2015:

– 4:15 p.m., two-car property damage accident, East Main Street near State Street, no citations or injuries.

– 11:45 p.m., hit-and-run accident, Hart Pizza parking lot. A car backed out and hit a parked vehicle, leaving the scene.

Saturday, March 7, 2015:

– 2:18 p.m., a 35-year-old Montrose, Mich. woman was transported by Oceana County EMS to Mercy Health Lakeshore Campus in Shelby for a leg injury caused by a minor snowmobile accident on North Comfort Drive near Shopko. The sled started to tip, and she put her leg out to stop it from tipping and felt her knee pop, said Hart Chief Dan Leimback.

Sunday, March 8, 2015:

– malicious destruction of property occurred overnight on North Plum Street. Three to four mailboxes were damaged. The case is under investigation.
