Free ORV safety classes begin next Saturday

SILVER LAKE — The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is offering free off-road vehicle safety classes one Saturday per month, beginning next Saturday through October.

All classes begin at 9 a.m. and take place at the Silver Lake State Park headquarters at 9679 W. State Park Rd., Mears. The Aug. 1 class will be held at the Oceana County Fairgrounds in Hart during the All Seasons Outdoor Show.

Class dates are: March 14; April 18; May 16; June 20; July 18; Aug. 1; Sept. 19; and Oct. 17.
