WEARE TWP. — Lorena C. VanDenHeuvel, 90, of Hart, died Wednesday, March 4, following a rollover crash on Monroe Road in between Oceana Drive and 72nd Avenue shortly before noon Tuesday, March 3.
VanDenHeuvel was a passenger in a Chrysler Town & Country minivan driven by Patricia Cory, who lost control of the vehicle on the icy and snowy road. Police at the scene said VanDenHeuvel may have suffered a medical condition following the crash. She was transported by Oceana EMS to Mercy Health Lakeshore Campus in Shelby where she later died, according to the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office.
