Agency provides income for seniors.

LUDINGTON — Experience Works, Inc. (formerly Green Thumb), a nonprofit provider of training and employment services for 50 years, has recently announced that Kathy Soper has been assigned to work with the low-income senior residents of Lake, Mason and Oceana counties.

Individual qualifying for services, may have the opportunity to be temporarily assigned to work at a nonprofit or government agency in the individual’s community for approximately 18-20 hours per week to gain work experience and skills.  During the training assignment, Experience Works pays $8.15 per hour to the individual, at no cost to the agency.  In addition, Soper will be providing support, job search assistance, and exploring other training and employment opportunities for the individual.
