PENTWATER — The Pentwater Service Club has lined up three interesting speakers in February, including 27th Circuit Court Judge Anthony Monton, retired NASA scientist Dr. Gerry Taylor and Pentwater attorney John “Buz” Graettinger.
Graettinger, a Pentwater Service Club member, will talk Feb. 12 about a new Michigan law that can provide more favorable tax treatment for children who inherit residential property from their parents.
Monton, also a club member, will talk about current social issues that affect the courts, Feb. 19.
Taylor will continue his recent presentation to the club, Feb. 26, about how U.S. Apollo and Russian Soyuz spacecraft crews managed microscopic organism-related (microbial) matters.
Between Sept. and June, the club meets at Pentwater Public School every Thursday beginning at 11:15 a.m. Lunch follows at 12:15 p.m. Programs typically feature area leaders discussing topics of interest or local needs. The club welcomes new members, and more information can be found at serviceclub.org.
