LASSI Benefit Valentine’s Day party

SHELBY — Celebrate Valentine’s Day by showing some sweet support of the pets at the Oceana County Animal Shelter.

The LASSI Benefit Valentine’s Day party is set for Saturday, Feb. 14, from 7-11 p.m. at the Shelby Optimist Club. Enjoy live music by The Electric Wombats, plus 50/50 raffles and a silent auction. Appetizers, ice and mixers will be provided. Bring your own beverages. Donations are $20 per person, and proceeds provide veterinary care for the animal shelter pets.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at Cherry Hill Supermarket in Shelby, Companion Animal Veterinary Clinic in Shelby, Gale’s IGA in Hart, Hansen Foods in Hart, and Oceana Veterinary Clinic in New Era or by calling 794-8248. Tickets at the door are subject to availability.
