Police seek info about golf cart stolen in break-in

golf cart -1golf cart -3GOLDEN TWP. — A newer model golf cart valued at $5,000 was stolen during a recent break-in to a pole barn in the 400 block golf cart -2of N. 48th Avenue, and the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to track down the culprits.

“On Dec. 13, 2014, the victim reported the break-in to a pole barn at that location and suffered the loss of a newer model golf cart,” states an OCSO press release issued Thursday morning, Dec. 18. “It is believed that the break-in took place some time over the past week. Some other smaller items were also taken, but the big item was the golf cart valued at approximately $5,000. The description of the golf cart is: ‘Club Car’ golf cart, blue with roof, windshield, two seater with normal golf club area in rear, knobby tires, gas powered, unknown year/VIN.”
