GOLDEN TWP. — A newer model golf cart valued at $5,000 was stolen during a recent break-in to a pole barn in the 400 block of N. 48th Avenue, and the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to track down the culprits.
“On Dec. 13, 2014, the victim reported the break-in to a pole barn at that location and suffered the loss of a newer model golf cart,” states an OCSO press release issued Thursday morning, Dec. 18. “It is believed that the break-in took place some time over the past week. Some other smaller items were also taken, but the big item was the golf cart valued at approximately $5,000. The description of the golf cart is: ‘Club Car’ golf cart, blue with roof, windshield, two seater with normal golf club area in rear, knobby tires, gas powered, unknown year/VIN.”
