MEARS — The Oceana County Republican Executive Committee elected Dr. Rudy Ochs as the new chair and Juanita Pierman as the new vice chair last Tuesday, Dec. 9, during a business meeting at the Golden Eatery.
Current Treasurer Al Docter and current Secretary Barbara Siok were unanimously re-elected. Their two-year terms begin Jan. 1.
“I am honored and humbled to be elected to this position,” said Ochs. “I will do all I can to further our message and programs for the people of Oceana County.”
Approximately 30 people attended the meeting. The next meeting is set for Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Golden Eatery. All are encouraged to attend.
