Car damaged by falling power wire

SpringsteadHoriz_2HART — A wire that a power company was working on Wednesday, Dec. 10, fell onto the pavement at the intersection of State and Wood streets when a car was driving by and damaged the car’s windshield, said Hart Police Chief Dan Leimback.

The windshield “spider-webbed” from the 11:39 a.m. incident, and no one was injured.

Hart police also responded to a one-car property damage accident that occurred Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 11:24 a.m. at the intersection of Tyler Road and Oceana Drive. No one was injured, but the stop sign was run over, the chief said.
