Spelling bee Dec. 13

HART — The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring its annual spelling bee Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 109 E. Washington St.

The contest is open to fourth through ninth graders, and pre-registration is required. Contact John Kroon at 231-233-5529 to register.

The K of C is also offering a substance abuse awareness poster contest for students up to age 14. Posters are due Tuesday, Jan. 13.
