Fugitive, driver with suspended license arrested

HART — Michigan State Police troopers made two separate arrests in Oceana County Monday, Dec. 1.

The first arrest occurred at 9:51 a.m. when a 39-year-old Shelby woman visited the state police post to see if there was a warrant issued for her, and she soon found out there was when she was placed under arrest on a fugitive warrant.

The second arrest occurred at 2:25 p.m. on Harrison Road near 152nd Avenue in Elbridge Township. A 56-year-old man was arrested for driving while license suspended, second offense; improper plates; and no insurance.
