Slick roads cause slide-offs; teen arrested for domestic assault

SpringsteadHoriz_2HART — Michigan State Police troopers responded to two vehicle slide-offs in Oceana County Monday, Nov. 24, due to slick roads caused by slushy snow.

– 1:45 p.m., civil standby – family dispute, 6000 block of W. Shelby Rd., Benona Twp.

– 6:47 p.m., vehicle slide-off, US-31 near Baseline Rd., Hart Twp.

– 6:50 p.m., 17-year-old Shelby man arrested for domestic assault, 1000 block of N. 52nd Ave., Golden Twp.

– 8:19 p.m., vehicle slide-off, US-31 and Polk Rd., Hart Twp.

– 11:08 p.m., tree fell in roadway, Chester and Tamherst streets, Pentwater.
