Crashes continue on slippery roads

MSPHART — The wintry weather continues to cause crashes on Oceana County roads, the Hart post of the Michigan State Police is reporting.

A rollover in the median of US-31 near Wayne Road in Weare Township Wednesday evening at 9:05 p.m. resulted in minor injuries, the MSP reported. According to emergency radio traffic, one person was injured in the crash. Hart Fire Department was called to the scene to assist, and the scene was cleared approximately 40 minutes after it was toned out.

Other MSP activity in Oceana County Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014:

– 9:45 a.m., a 32-year-old Muskegon man was arrested on a warrant and for driving while license suspended (DWLS) at US-31 and Winston Rd., Grant Twp.

– 12:54 p.m., one-car property damage accident, 6000 block of 176th Ave., Colfax Twp.

– 10:47 p.m., traffic hazard, straw in the middle of the road, 184th Ave. and Skeels Rd., Greenwood Twp.
