Many crashes over the snowy weekend

SpringsteadHoriz_2HART — Michigan State Police troopers handled five separate vehicle crashes over the weekend, which brought Oceana County drivers their first taste of winter driving in many months.

Friday, Nov. 14, 2014

– 7:35 a.m., one-car property damage accident, Stony Lake Rd. and 44th Ave., Claybanks Twp.

– 4 p.m., malicious destruction of property, cottage siding damaged, 2000 block of Sandy Crt., Golden Twp.

– 7:33 p.m., domestic assault, 5000 block of Garfield Rd., Newfield Twp., no arrests/under investigation.

Saturday, Nov. 15, 2015

– 12:19 a.m., sex offender registration violation, Newfield Twp., no arrests/under investigation.

– 2:10 a.m., car-deer crash, Maple Island Rd. and Garfield Rd., Newfield Twp.

– 8:37 a.m., 23-year-old Hart man arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Polk Rd. and Oceana Rd., Hart Twp.

Sunday, Nov. 16, 2015

– 11:45 a.m., one-car property damage accident, Jefferson Rd. and 188th Ave., Colfax Twp.

– 3:40 p.m., one-car property damage accident, Scout Rd. and 192nd Ave., Leavitt Twp.

– 7:59 p.m., one-car property damage accident, US-31 and Wayne Rd., Hart Twp.
