HART — Technical difficulties at the county clerk’s office delayed Tuesday’s election results, and many precincts reported delays due to write-in candidates.
Final results were not totaled until after midnight, and write-in totals had to be computed manually and were not available.
Voter turnout was high in the midterm election with 8,387 voters out of 19,191 registered voters casting ballots, representing nearly 44 percent.
