HART — Governor Rick Snyder, along with several other republican candidates, stopped at Hart Pizza Saturday night, Nov. 1, as part of a three-day campaign tour prior to Tuesday’s election.
“Things are going in the right direction,” and “I just plan on a strong finish,” Snyder told a standing-room-only crowd.
Those also in attendance included Secretary of State Ruth Johnson, Attorney General Bill Schuette, Michigan Senator Goeff Hansen, Representative John Bumstead, U.S. Senate Candidate Terry Lynn Land, Michigan Supreme Court Justice incumbents Brian Zarah and David Viviano and candidate James Robert Redford among other hopefuls in Tuesday’s election.
Michigan Republicans launched a 17-stop “Comeback State” bus tour for their statewide candidates to make a last pitch to voters.
The tour began in Lansing Saturday morning with stops throughout the day, including Holland and Muskegon. The final stop Saturday was Hart Pizza, where the politicians ate pizza and rallied in each other’s support. The bus was slated to stop in Traverse City Sunday morning and continue to several locations Monday.
