HART – The following were sentenced Monday, Oct. 27, in 78th District Court:
– John Weston Wozniak, 23, of 3351 Dean Rd., Howell, was found guilty Oct. 27 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; serve three weekends in jail (can serve in Howell if they accept transfer); $1,475 in fines and costs; outpatient treatment; six months probation; and no alcohol/drugs – subject to counseling, testing and searches. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated, second offense, was dismissed.
– Joshua Abdul Castillo, 19, of 2936 S. 186th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Oct. 27 of minor in possession (MIP) of alcohol. He was sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of lying to a peace officer – serious misdemeanor investigation was dismissed.
– Gilbert Lerma Revilla, 60, of 193 W. 6th St., Shelby, was found guilty Oct. 27 of disturbing the peace. He was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs and 90 days discretionary jail.
– Casey Jesus Melcher, 24, of 578 S. Harvey St., Shelby, was found guilty Oct. 27 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,205 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Bambi Lynne Stanfield, 30, of 99 N. East St., Walkerville, was found guilty Oct. 27 of assault and battery. She was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; $400 in fines and costs; and no contact with victim.
– Rigoberto Ortega, Jr., 19, of 311 E. Jefferson, Hart, was found guilty Oct. 27 of operating a motor vehicle without security. He was sentenced to $440 in fines and costs and one year discretionary jail.
