PENTWATER — Put on your Halloween costume and head to the Halloween on the Green and Spooktacular Parade this Saturday.
Halloween on the Green is set for 1-2 p.m. on the Village Green. Enjoy a costume contest, face painting, pumpkin painting, a sack race, the Great Pumpkin Roll and candy bags.
Trick or treating with Pentwater downtown merchants is scheduled for 2-4 p.m.
The Seventh Annual Spooktacular Parade, which will feature the Pentwater Marching Band, begins at 4 p.m. It is open to businesses, organizations, school classes, individuals, families, merchants and pets. Be as creative as you like by making floats or simply come in a costume. Parents are welcome to walk with the kids. Line up at Charlie’s Marina from 3:30-3:45 p.m.
Adults will enjoy the Pub Crawl, which begins at 6 p.m. Visit local watering holes for ghoulish food, scary drinks and spooky treats. A costume contest will take place at the Antler Bar.
