27th Circuit Court sentencings

HART — The following were sentenced Monday, Oct. 13, in 27th Circuit Court by Judge Anthony Monton:

– Kenneth Roscoe Robbins III, 34, of 14 S. Hart St., Hart, was found guilty Aug. 26 of sex offender – failure to comply with reporting duties. He was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for two days served; sentence to be served at the court’s discretion; five months forthwith; work release authorized; $400 in fines and costs; two years probation; must register as a sex offender; may not own, possess or use any computer or device capable of connecting to the internet; may not have any contact with any individual age 17 or younger; may not reside, work or loiter within a student safety zone; may not be within 500 feet of parks, municipal swimming pool, playgrounds or other places primarily used by individuals 17 or younger; no alcohol/drugs and must submit to testing; must use prescription drugs only as prescribed; outpatient treatment; must possess a valid Michigan ID; may not engage in any assaultive behavior; may not associate with any known felons; may not change residence without prior written permission; may not use any object as a weapon; must contact probation agent upon placement on probation or release from jail; must comply with all orders of the probation agent; must allow probation agent into residence for supervision purposes; must submit to searches of his person, place or auto as directed by probation agent; must report any arrest or police contact, loss of employment, or change in residence within 24 hours; and must notify probation agent of the service of a personal protection order within 24 hours.

to third-degree home invasion. She was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for 82 days served; three months forthwith; sentence to be served at the court’s discretion; $1,000 restitution; $198 in fines and costs; 18 months probation; no alcohol/drugs and must submit to testing; outpatient treatment or residential substance abuse treatment when referred by field agent;must comply with written or verbal orders of field agent; and must let field agent into residence at any time for probation supervision.

– Brendan Philip Kim, 24, of 2040 W. Lemoyne St., Apt. B, Chicago, was found guilty Jan. 10 of controlled substance, possession of a non-narcotic. He was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for one day served; sentence to be served at the court’s discretion; driver’s license suspended six months/restricted license after 30 days; and $500 in fines and costs. One count of controlled substance, possession less than 25 grams was dismissed.
