Oktoberfest this weekend

PENTWATER — Enjoy fun activities for all ages against a backdrop of the beautiful fall colors during Oktoberfest this weekend.

Friday events include Bingo at the VFW Hall from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and Comedy Night at The Village Café & Pub at 9 p.m.

Saturday events
10 a.m. – Pumpkin and face painting on the Village Green

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – COVE Pentwater Home Tour & Used Book Sale

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Holiday Art & Collectibles Show at the Shared Space Studio across from Pentwater Convenience Center, at 4391 Monroe Rd. Features holiday artwork, collectibles, decor and clothing created by local artists.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Kids workshop on the Village Green for children ages 5-12.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Fifth Annual Classic Car and Hot Rod Show, Hancock St., featuring over 100 cars.

11 a.m. – Strudel Bake Off

11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. – Brats, strudel, chips, pop and beer at entertainment tent.

Noon to 2 p.m. – Chili Cook-Off

Noon – Michigan State football game on the big screen at the entertainment tent.

1 p.m. – Barrel Race, Sprint for the Stein, Egg Toss, Stein Holding on the Village Green.

3:30 p.m. – Live auction at the entertainment tent.

4-5 p.m. – Sixth Annual Show Off Your Sauce and Italian Wine Tasting at Cenzo’s Italian Market. Bring in your best homemade spaghetti sauce in a crock pot.

5-7 p.m. –  Music at the Village Café and Pub.

5 p.m. – Polka and Chicken dance contests.

9:30 p.m. – Live music in the Village Pub.
