Hart PD recovers stolen car

HART — The owner of a 2002 Dodge Caravan contacted police early Sunday morning, Sept. 28, after he heard a noise outside his house; looked out his window; and saw his vehicle being driven away, said Police Chief Dan Leimback.

The minivan was reported stolen at 4:10 a.m., but was then recovered in a field near Griswold Street at 9 a.m., the chief said. The case is under investigation.

– A personal injury accident, West Main and Peach streets, 3:25 p.m. Oceana EMS evaluated accident victims, none were transported to the hospital.

Saturday, Sept. 27

– Charges are being sought against a female suspect for possession of marijuana stemming from a 1:37 a.m.traffic stop on Oceana Drive near East Main Street. MSP assisted.
