PENTWATER — Sailors from across the country are competing in the National Ensign Championship Regatta this week.
Ensign Fleet 70 of Pentwater, in conjunction with the Pentwater Yacht Club, were selected as the 
regatta hosts. A total of 44 sailboats are registered to participate in the races on Lake Michigan, which began today.
After four days of racing, the regatta wraps up Thursday with an awards banquet at the yacht club.
