Sand sculpture contest draws large crowd

PENTWATER — The 41st Annual Sand Sculpture Contest during Homecoming weekend Friday drew over 200 participants and 50 teams. Beautiful sculptures dominated the landscape at Charles Mears State Park on a sunny, yet unseasonably cool, mid-August day.
