Sex offender, home invader sentenced

HART — A 53-year-old Hesperia man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for criminal sexual conduct (CSC), and a 20-year-old Hart man was ordered to one year in jail for home invasion Monday in 27th Circuit Court.

Roger Lloyd, of 3671 S. 136th Ave., was found guilty by a jury June 26 of two counts of first-degree CSC with a victim under 13 years of age and three counts of second-degree CSC, victim under 13. For the first two counts, Lloyd was sentenced to 25-75 years in a Michigan Department of Corrections prison for each count. He was sentenced to three to 15 years for each of the remaining three counts. He was given credit for 48 days served in jail. All prison terms run concurrent.

Lloyd was ordered to pay $470 in fines and costs, and he must submit to lifetime electronic monitoring. HIV testing and sex offender registration has been completed, his court file states.

was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for 15 days served and two years probation. He was ordered to pay $8,588 in restitution and $198 in fines and costs. Conditions of his probation include: no alcohol/drugs and must submit to testing; must complete treatment programs directed by his probation agent; may not engage in any assaultive behavior; may not associate with any known felons; may not use any object as a weapon; must contact probation agent upon placement on probation or release from jail; must allow probation agent into his residence for supervision purposes; must submit to searches of his person, place or auto as directed by the probation agent; must report any police contact, loss of employment or change in residence within 24 hours; no contact with victim; and must seek and maintain legitimate employment.
