Spitler open house Aug. 25

HART — ‘Lil’ Pirate’ families are invited to the Spitler Elementary Open House Monday, Aug. 25, at  6 p.m.

There will be informational meetings with teachers in the classrooms and a meeting with Principal Amy Taranko in the gym.

PTO will have red Lil’ Pirate t-shirt samples for families to view. The shirts were designed by student Rey Zuniga, who created the winning design last school year. Order forms will be sent home with students during the first week of school. Shirts are $10 each and are available in youth and adult sizes. The deadline for orders is Sept. 18.

Hart Cub Scout Pack #4146 will be at the open house for boy scout sign-ups for first through fifth grade; Hart Rec will have an information booth; and Project FOCUS will have a sign-up table with site coordinator Jason Stariha.

More back- to-school information will be mailed to parents in mid-August.
