HART – The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in investigating six recent gas drive-off incidents possibly involving the same car.

Culprits driving a vehicle believed to be a 2003 four-door silver-gray Ford Taurus fill up the tank and drive away without paying. A driver and passenger drive off with approximately $50 worth of gas.

OCSO has investigated the drive-offs over the past two months involving the vehicle. Four incidents occurred at Wilson’s Market, located at the corner of Polk Road and 56th Avenue in Mears, and the other two occurred at the E-Z Mart Gas Station at 4279 W. Polk Road, across the street from McDonald’s.
