Mrs. Mullen’s Closet golf outing Aug. 31

SHELBY — Mrs. Mullen’s Closet Labor of Love Golf Outing is set for Sunday, Aug. 31, at Oceana Golf Club.

The outing begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $45 per person, which includes nine holes of golf, a cart and lunch. Registration is limited to the first 50 golfers. All funds raised will be matched 100 percent and go directly to Mrs. Mullen’s Closet, which provides clothing to local children in need, and Mullen’s Motorway Playground.
