District Court sentencings

HART – The following were sentenced Monday in 78th District Court:

–      Tyler Joel Griffin, 22, of 907 S. Madison St., Ludington, pled no contest Aug. 4 to larceny $200-$1,000. He was sentenced to nine months in jail to run concurrent with Mason County sentence; one year discretionary jail; and a $75 fine. One felony count of second-degree home invasion was dismissed.

–      Joseph Ryan Lundberg, 26, of 1306 Walsh St., Apt. 4, Midland, pled no contest Aug. 4 to disturbing the peace. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. One felony count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) was dismissed.

–      Patricia Marie Todd, 64, of 3154 Pawnee Trail, New Era, was found guilty Aug. 4 of controlled substance – possession of marijuana. She was sentenced to one year discretionary jail and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

–      Ricardo Daniel Rodriguez-Flores, 26, of 7023 S. 88th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty Aug. 4 of disorderly person-jostling. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. One count of aggravated domestic violence was dismissed.

–      Richard Lee Wiegand, 25, of 362 Louisa Rd., Twin Lake, was found guilty Aug. 4 of operating a vehicle without security. He was sentenced to one year discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs.

–      Anthony Forrest Goven, 48, of 11310 Pine St., Holton, was found guilty Aug. 4 of operating a vehicle without security. He was sentenced to one year discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs.

–      Kevin Wayne Smith, 33, of 8463 E. Filmore Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Aug. 4 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail; must take name off title of vehicle used in offense within 30 days or it will be immobilized in 90 days; outpatient treatment; six months probation; $1,680 in fines and costs; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to testing/counseling/searches by probation officer. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of second-offense operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL) was dismissed.

–      Timothy David Wert, 33, of 9454 S. 72nd Ave. Rothbury, was found guilty Aug. 4 of DWLS. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of domestic violence and one count of DWLS, second offense, were dismissed.

–      Juan Dedios Lara-Rios, 35, of 4504 Adare St., Mercedes, Texas, was found guilty Aug. 4 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated and one count of driving while license expired were dismissed.

–      Leigh Anne Bailey, 30, of 5378 W. Park Rd., New Era, was found guilty Aug. 4 of operating while intoxicated. She was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail; outpatient treatment; and $940 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content was dismissed.

–      Mark Allen Puffpaff, 17, of 3607 W. D Ave., Kalamazoo, was found guilty Aug. 4 of third-degree retail fraud. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; $71 in restitution; and $400 in fines and costs.

–      Derrick Andrew Yager, 25, of 611 S. Harvey St., Shelby, was found guilty Aug. 4 of sex offender – attempted failure to comply with reporting duties. He was sentenced to one year discretionary jail and $450 in fines and costs.
