SHELBY — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office received a report Thursday of a stolen cast iron kettle, which is four feet in diameter and weighs close to 500 pounds.
The kettle was stolen from a lawn of a residence in the 6400 block of West Shelby Road and is believed to have been taken overnight.
The kettle is valued at $500-$700. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen cast iron kettle is asked to contact the OCSO at (231) 873-2121.
