Journey tribute band kicks off first of two Rhythm & Dunes concerts

LUDINGTON — The first of two free community concerts sponsored by West Shore Bank will be this Saturday, July 26, at Waterfront Park. The Journey tribute band, DSB Band, will kick off the third annual Rhythm & Dunes series.

DSB has been highly revered by fans as the “next best thing” to the classic rock band Journey. The band captures the lush, signature sound of renowned vocalist Steve Perry and Journey in their prime. Complete with a band of world-class Los Angeles musicians, DSB remains true to Journey’s musical legacy and delivers the nostalgic concert experience that will keep you Believin’!

Megastars of Country will be the featured act for the second concert, Saturday, Aug. 2, also at Waterfront Park. Megastars of Country features songs from country greats of Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, and George Strait, this show will celebrate some of the greatest country music hits ever recorded.

The free concerts begin at 7 p.m. Food vendors will be on hand with proceeds going to local school music programs.

An estimated 8,000 people attended last year’s concerts.
