July 23, 2014

LUDINGTON — Miss Ludington Area, Emma Martin, and the pageant board of directors invite young women from Oceana, Mason and Manistee counties to enjoy an afternoon of spa treatments at Cartier Mansion Saturday, Aug. 2, at 3 p.m.

The Royal Spa Afternoon is a chance to relax, but also learn about competing in the 2014-2015 Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Pageant in November.

“We are hoping to grow awareness of our program and the number of contestants this year,” said Kaley Petersen, Executive Director of the Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Pageant. This is a great opportunity for young women in the area to learn more about the scholarship pageant and what is involved as a contestant. The Miss Ludington Area Scholarship pageant is a wonderful scholarship opportunity and focuses on well-rounded young women.”

Salon 22 Spa will provide complimentary manicures as well as hand, scalp and shoulder massages.

This event is free to attend. Interested young women should be from Mason, Manistee or Oceana counties and be a high school senior through 24 years of age.
