MEARS — Celebrate the “100 years of the Golden Fair” with the Oceana County Historical & Genealogical Society this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This is the grand opening of the exhibit at the Old Town Hall on the corner of Fox Road and Morrison Street. The exhibit will be open to the public every Saturday and Sunday in June, July and August from 1-4 p.m.
On Sunday, check out the dedication of “Trapper Ralph’s Cabin” at 2 p.m. in the Oceana Historical Park in Mears. The society’s annual meeting follows at 4 p.m. in the Swedish Church in the historical park.
