Annual Ox Roast and Homecoming

WEARE TOWNSHIP — The Annual Ox Roast and Homecoming is set for Sunday, July 13, at the Saint Joseph’s Church, at 2380 W. Jackson Rd., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The popular event takes place in the church’s fellowship hall and often doubles as a homecoming and reunion for parish members, both current and past.

The menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked beans, asparagus, cole slaw and pie. Take out is available.

Activities include games and bingo, raffles, silent auction, baked goods, crafts, the Puddle Jumper Classic Car Group and more.

The cost $11 for adults; $5 for children 5-11; and children under 5 are free.
