HART – The following were sentenced Monday, June 16:
27th Circuit Court
– Alec David Mosser, 21, of 138 1/2 Monroe Ave., Findlay, Ohio, was found guilty Aug. 26, 2013 of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. One count of controlled substance, possession of schedule 5 LSD; one count of controlled substance, possession of less than 25 grams; and one count of possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy were dismissed. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail to be served at the court’s discretion and $125 in fines and costs.
78th District Court
– Jarrod Wayne Barnes, 31, of 277 N State St., Shelby, was found guilty June 16 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to $1,205 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail; and outpatient treatment. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Brandon Scott Thrailkill, 21, of 13 Mechanic St., Hart, was found guilty June 16 of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 27 days in jail with credit for 27 days served; $100 fine; one year discretionary jail; and outpatient treatment. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Colton Donald Schultz, 21, of 4890 W. Shelby Rd., Shelby, was found guilty June 16 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to $1,040 in fines and costs; Alcohol
Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and 93 days discretionary jail. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– David Lee Nobles, Jr., 19, of 666 W. Filmore Rd., Hart, pleaded no contest June 16 to controlled substance, possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs and one year discretionary jail. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Brian Edward Achterhoff, 48, of 575 E. Riley Thompson, Muskegon, was found guilty April 28 of operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL), second offense. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail; one year discretionary jail; six months probation; outpatient treatment; $990 in fines and costs; and no alcohol/drugs. One count of OUIL, third offense (felony), and one count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Donald Leroy Achterhoff, 71, of 4668 S. 132nd Ave., Hesperia, pleaded no contest June 16 to disorderly person – jostling. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $450 in fines and costs.
– Cameron Douglas MacArthur, 21, of 4735 Crescent Beach Rd., Onekama, was found guilty June 16 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. One count of operating with a high BAC was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
