Historical society hosting 2 events this week

MEARS — The Oceana County Historical & Genealogical Society will host a spaghetti supper with dessert Tuesday June 10, from 5-7 p.m.at the Mears Methodist Church, at 1900 N. 56th St.

The Double 100 Celebration Fundraiser is set for Thursday, June 12, from 5-7p.m. at the Mears United Methodist Church.

This summer, the society will celebrate 100 years of the Mears News and 100 years of the Golden Fair with many special events in July and August. Funds from this week’s events will help fund with those projects.

The cost for each event this week is a donation of $7 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under.
