Pentwater Historical Society to host grand opening of new museum

The new Pentwater Historical Society Museum, located at 85 Rutledge St., is having a grand opening this Saturday, May 31, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is slated for at approximately 11:30 a.m. with Sen. Goeff Hansen (R-Hart) and Rep. Jon Bumstead (R-Newaygo) attending.  After a museum tour, there will be free hot dogs, chips, popcorn and more.  Games and prizes will also be available for children.  Free gifts will be awarded at 3 p.m., and winners must be present to claim prizes.
